Welcome to my personal website.
I was fortunate to meet travellers early in my life, and listening to their amazing stories and travel experiences, I decided that this is what I wanted to do as a career. I jumped on the first plane to Europe after finishing my Matric exam, and at the tender age of 18, I found myself in Germany and addicted to travelling!
After a year in Germany, I travelled to the United States, where I lived for four months. My parents forced me to study before I embarked on any more travels, and I studied travel and tourism as this is what I love!
The UK was next on my travel list, where I lived for three years, earning money and exploring the rest of the world. During this time, I realised how proud I am to be a South African; Africa, was calling!
My career as a travel agent began in 1999, so did my travels to Africa, India, the Far East and Australia.
I'm so fortunate to make a living from my passion, and have done so for 24 years. I am living my dream in the travel business.
I am the proud owner of a home–based travel business aligned to Travel Counsellors, the largest home-working company in the world. Travel Counsellors operate in 6 countries worldwide and offer me fantastic technology, IT, Operation and marketing support which frees me up so that I can dedicate my time to do what I love best – offering the best service to my clients.
Nothing is more rewarding for me than a satisfied client, exceeding their expectations and changing their perception of travel or a destination.

In this last occasion, I actually had a flight quote from another agent for R55K, but I went to Maggie and specifically told her I was window shopping for affordable prices. Without telling her the R55K value, she got me a R40K quote in leass that 24 hrs. What more can I ask for. I was introduced to Maggie by my husband in the past, and she is very good and professional. Please keep her happy...you don't want to lose such personnel.

Maggie always goes the extra mile for her clients. With my parents' flight being cancelled a few weeks ago, Maggie was in contact with the airline and she kept me up to date. She even phoned me at 7 am just after I informed her about the cancellation. She sent me the new flight details immediately and she was in contact with me the whole day of the cancellation. I have already recommended her to my friends and colleagues. She is the best and has a passion for her work!
