Travel Counsellors is my new home to Welcome all my loyal Clients, Old and New. We will take this LLT “Love Life with Travel” journey together in making dreams a reality, exploring the world, eating foreign foods, and getting to know different cultures.

I've had quite a great career so far, qualifying for my 1st global conference as a new starter In my 1st year and was invited to Macau, China . I was actually invited on stage and won business class tickets, which was absolutely amazing. It was a privilege to have been invited on various educational trips including Mauritius, Reunion, China, and Bali. I have won incentives and was able to visit Thailand , Zanzibar, and Western Australia where my parents, my Little sister, her family and my eldest daughter live . I am sure My love for the Islands will never fade, Island Holidays are Idyllic and can offer you so much. It is the best of both worlds I would say. My favourite being Mauritius which offered me some peace, some relaxation on the catamaran cruises, and some adrenaline on the parasailing trips. I am no avid hiker so I prefer to explore the Island on a scooter. Shopping in Port Louis I would always take a big backpack on my scooter, I love to shop, who doesn’t?

Dust of your Compass , Thailand Awaits you !

10 June 2024

The Do’s and Don’ts of Travel in Thailand. By following my do's and don'ts, you can rest assured that you will have a thoroughly enjoyable time in Thailand. When visiting Phuket, soak in the island's natural beauty, embrace the cultural heritage, and enjoy the warm hospitality. Do or Don’t. You decide? You can take the risk of giving your passport to a stranger to experience adrenaline like never before on a Honda 125cc Scooter and take on the daring streets of Phuket. That is up to you. I did, and I think it's the best way to travel fast through the hustle and bustle of the busy streets. Pick your next meal fresh from the sidewalk beside the road, and when I say fresh, I mean live fish. How exciting is that? Come here, fishy fishy! Have your feet cleaned or munched on by tiny little piranhas. Just kidding! They are not piranhas. They are more like guppies. I'm sitting in this comfy chair, looking at the sidewalk and busy road, and having the giggles because these little creatures are munching away at my feet. If you are brave enough to let those small-figure Thai ladies walk on you. You are in for the massage of your life. As they say, small bottle big power. They will walk every tense muscle out of your body. Do you fancy a juicy Spur rib? You should also try one of the food stalls on the streets of Phuket. I'm not sure what you'll get, but they were delicious. Do’s 1. Bargain politely: Always bargain politely and with a smile. Phuket is the place to be if you like bargaining, it's common on the street and markets, however, please do not try this at the local restaurants or takeaway shops. It's part of the local culture, but being overly aggressive or disrespectful can be considered rude. 2. Respect the local culture: Thailand is known for its rich cultural heritage and traditions. It's important to show respect for the local customs, such as removing your shoes before entering temples and covering your shoulders and knees when visiting a religious site. Don’t 1. Disrespect the monarchy and sacred Temples: Please dress appropriately and never in your swimwear or clothes that show off your body, you can do that on the beach. The Thai monarchy is highly revered in Thailand, and any criticism or disrespect towards the royal family is illegal and can result in severe penalties. 2. Engage in illegal activities, like overindulging in alcohol: Even though you are there to have the best time, it is important not to enjoy yourself too much. Thailand has strict laws regarding drugs and the possession or use of illegal substances. The movies do not lie, they will lock you up and through away the key. What has travel taught me? Live your life by a compass, not a clock! To experience the full Monty, expand your way of thinking and leave your habits at home.
