ITINERARY:

Day 1: Welcome to Casablanca

If your flight arrives in Casablanca by 3pm, enjoy a seamless transfer to your hotel. In the evening, meet your fellow travellers and get a taste of Morocco’s rich culinary traditions with an interactive cooking class. Led by a skilled chef, you’ll learn how to prepare authentic dishes like pastilla and tagine, discovering the fascinating history behind each recipe. This immersive experience sets the perfect tone for your journey, bringing people together through the universal language of food.

Day 2: Exploring Volubilis & Meknes

Start the day with a visit to Volubilis, home to the most impressive Roman ruins in Morocco. Walk among the ancient columns and mosaics as your guide shares insights into this once-thriving city. Later, head to a local women’s cooperative, where you’ll enjoy a traditional meal packed with vibrant flavours. Day 3: A Deep Dive into Fès

A local guide will lead you through bustling souks, past craftsmen at work, and into hidden courtyards. You’ll also witness the famous tanneries from above, watching artisans dye leather in vibrant hues. Enjoy lunch at a traditional riad before taking some free time to explore. Day 4: Into the Sahara

Head southeast toward the towering dunes of Erg Chebbi near Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara. Arriving in the late afternoon, trade four wheels for four legs as you ride camels into the vast desert. At your remote camp, you’ll be greeted with traditional mint tea before climbing a dune to watch the sunset over the golden sands. As night falls, gather around a campfire for a Berber feast, accompanied by rhythmic drumming under a sky full of stars.

Day 5: Desert Adventures & Berber Traditions

Wake up to a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes, followed by a leisurely breakfast at camp. Then, shift gears with a thrilling 4x4 ride through the ever-changing landscape. Along the way, visit a local Amazigh nomadic family to gain insight into their traditional way of life. Stroll through the vibrant streets, relax at a café, or join your guide for a walking tour of Gueliz and the historic city centre. Whether you prefer exploring solo or sticking with the group, the choice is entirely up to you. In the evening, seek out a lively eatery to sample Marrakech’s renowned food scene.

Day 9: Uncovering the Charms of Marrakech

Start the day with a guided tour of Marrakech’s most iconic sites, beginning at the Koutoubia Mosque. Stroll through the Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, and Jardin Secret, soaking in the city’s architectural beauty. Along the way, sample Moroccan treats like olives, msemen, and sweet pastries.
