ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrive in Zagreb

Arrive at any time and meet your group for a welcome briefing. Take a guided walk through the city, getting a feel for its streets and discovering vibrant graffiti art along the way. End the evening with an optional group dinner.

Day 2: Zagreb to Plitvice Lakes

Travel south to the breathtaking Plitvice Lakes National Park. Wander through lush forests, admire crystal-clear waters, and see cascading waterfalls. After a day of exploring, check into your hotel and unwind with a delicious dinner.

Day 3: Plitvice Lakes to Šibenik

Head to the coastal city of Zadar for a walking food tour, tasting local delicacies and enjoying a secluded garden lunch with wine tasting. Continue to Krka National Park for a scenic hike past stunning waterfalls before arriving in Šibenik for a free evening.

Day 4: Island-Hopping to Prvic & Zlarin

Take a ferry to the island of Prvic, exploring its charming old town. Then, hop over to Zlarin, known for its rich history and breathtaking Adriatic views. Return to Šibenik in the afternoon and take a stroll through the old town before enjoying the rest of the evening at leisure.

Day 5: Šibenik to Makarska (via Split)

Travel down the coast to Split, where a guided walk introduces you to its landmarks, including the famous Diocletian’s Palace. Enjoy free time for lunch and further exploration before continuing to the seaside town of Makarska for a relaxing evening.

Day 6: Free Day in Makarska

Spend the day however you like—take a ferry to Brac, go zip-lining in Tucepi, explore by tuk-tuk, or simply unwind on the beach.

Day 7: Makarska to Dubrovnik (via Ston)

Stop at Uvala Bistrina to learn about local oyster farming and sample fresh oysters with wine and lunch. In Ston, walk the impressive city walls before continuing to Dubrovnik, where the evening is yours to enjoy.

Day 8: Discover Dubrovnik

Explore Dubrovnik’s old town on a guided walk, visiting its most iconic landmarks. Visit the G Adventures-supported Deša project, which empowers local women, before spending the rest of the day exploring, kayaking, or enjoying a café.

Day 9: Dubrovnik to Trebinje

Enjoy a free morning in Dubrovnik before heading into Bosnia & Herzegovina. Stop at the Tvrdoš Monastery for a wine tasting, take in stunning views from Hercegovacka Gracanica Temple, and visit the historic Arslanagic Bridge. End the day with a guided walk through Trebinje’s old town.

Day 10: Trebinje to Livno

Immerse yourself in Bosnia’s natural beauty, exploring an Ottoman fortress-turned-art colony, swimming at Kravica Waterfalls, and embarking on a sunset Jeep safari to see wild horses. Cap off the evening with a BBQ dinner and a campfire under the stars.

Day 11: Livno to Mostar (via Blagaj)

Travel south to Blagaj, where the stunning Dervish Monastery clings to the cliffs above the Buna River. Take in the scenery before continuing to Mostar for a guided tour, including the city’s famous Ottoman bridge. Enjoy a free evening by the river.

Day 12: Mostar to Konjic

Board a morning train to Konjic and get ready for an adrenaline rush with a white-water rafting adventure on the Neretva River. Afterward, enjoy a BBQ lunch before relaxing at the lodge, exploring the town, or visiting Tito’s Bunker.

Day 13: Konjic to Sarajevo

Catch a train to Sarajevo and dive into its rich food scene on a guided culinary tour. Discover hidden gems beyond the usual tourist spots, then enjoy the afternoon exploring the city or joining an optional street art tour.

Day 14: Free Day in Sarajevo

Spend the day your way—visit museums, take a cable car to the Olympic bobsled track, sip coffee in a historic café, or even go hiking in the Rakitnica Canyon. End the trip with a final night out in Sarajevo.

Day 15: Depart from Sarajevo

Your journey ends today. Take some last-minute photos before heading home, bringing back memories of an unforgettable adventure through Croatia and Bosnia & Herzegovina.
