ITINERARY:

Day 1: Arrive in Lima

Touch down in Lima and settle into the charming Country Club Lima Hotel, your base for exploring the city.

Day 2: Discover Lima

Lima, known as the "City of Kings," is a vibrant mix of cultures, history, and flavours. Today’s all about uncovering its many highlights.

Day 3: Fly to Iquitos and embark on the Aria Amazon

Fly to Iquitos, where the Aria Amazon awaits. Settle in and enjoy a special welcome dinner prepared by Chef Pedro Miguel Schiaffino, showcasing the bold flavours of the Peruvian Amazon.

Day 4: Ucayali River, Clavero Lake & Yarapa River

Start the day at the source of the Amazon. Kayak, canoe, or take a dip in the black waters of Clavero Lake, then visit a local village. As night falls, cruise the Yarapa River in search of nocturnal wildlife.

Day 5: Exploring the Amazon & Tahuayo River

Today is all about the Amazon’s incredible wildlife. Spot exotic creatures and soak in the lush landscapes

Day 6: Nauta & the Birthplace of the Amazon River

One of the oldest settlements in the region, Nauta is a bustling hub where the Marañón and Ucayali Rivers meet. Browse the lively market before visiting the birthplace of the Amazon River.

Day 7: Wildlife & River Life Along the Marañón & Amazon Rivers

Cruise the Marañón River, keeping an eye out for Taricaya turtles and other local wildlife. As night falls, venture onto the Amazon River for a glimpse of its nocturnal residents.

Day 8: Samiria River & Ucayali River

Kickstart the day with a jungle picnic and a soundtrack of Amazonian wildlife. Go fishing, take a jungle walk, or explore by canoe or kayak before drifting down the Ucayali River at sunset.

Day 9: Puerto Prado Forest & the Amazon River

Spend the morning adventuring - whether on foot, by canoe, or swimming in the river. Later, visit Puerto Prado Forest.

Day 10: Disembark in Nauta & Fly to Cusco

After a morning stroll in Nauta, say farewell to the Aria Amazon and board a flight to Cusco. Settle into the stunning Tambo del Inka hotel in the Sacred Valley.

Day 11: Relax in the Sacred Valley

A free day to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. Visit the renowned Kallpa Spa, take a swim, or savour authentic Andean cuisine. If you're up for exploring, the Sacred Valley has plenty of treasures to uncover.

Day 12: Sacred Valley & Aguas Calientes

Visit Moray and Ollantaytambo, two fascinating archaeological sites. Meet locals and experience life in the valley before hopping on a train to Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu.

Day 13: Machu Picchu & Cusco

No trip to Peru is complete without Machu Picchu. Explore this legendary Inkan city before taking a train to Ollantaytambo and continuing by motor coach to Cusco.

Day 14: Exploring Cusco

Wander the cobblestone streets of Cusco, where ancient Andean culture blends with Spanish colonial charm. The city’s colourful textiles, art galleries, and history make for a captivating visit.

Day 15: Fly Back to Lima

Return to Lima and enjoy a final evening at the Wyndham Costa del Sol Lima Airport Hotel.

Day 16: Departure

Your adventure comes to an end. A guide will escort you to the airport for your journey home.
