I am an experienced Leisure and Corporate Travel Counsellor with over 18 years of experience in the travel industry. As a result of my passion, professionalism, and personal service I have won the title of Best Travel Counsellor Award in South Africa for 2019 and 2020. In 2024, I was one of the 5 nominees for Top Performing Travel Counsellor SA at the prestigious Travel Counsellors global awards in Manchester. I have retained the status of Gold Travel Counsellor since 2014, so you can be assured you are in good hands.

Being part of the Travel Counsellors franchise, unlike a traditional retail travel agency, means that I can be available at a time and place that best suits you – 24/7 from the comfort of your home or office! No opening or closing hours and each and every time you call, you will only speak to me.

Owning and growing my own business, means that I will always do my best for my clients to ensure a smooth, hassle-free, enjoyable holiday of a lifetime, (especially when it comes to travelling with little one's). I have 2 children aged 14 and 11, so I know how important the extra things are, like having a child meal ordered on their first overseas flight or a really cool seat next to the window. I truly believe that no 2 holidays should ever be the same and that a 'personal touch' makes all the difference.

I have been fortunate enough to travel to a variety of destinations so I can offer first-hand knowledge on these destinations and others. My travels have taken me to the USA including Orlando and Universal Studios - WOW, New York, San Francisco, Las Vegas and Hawaii, the UK, Ireland, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and many beautiful European cities - with Paris being my number one city. In 2023, I was fortunate enough to visit Cancun Mexico on our Travel Counsellors gold trip, however I must admit I prefer the beautiful beaches of Seychelles, Phuket and Mauritius. In November 2024, I did a quick trip up to the Victoria Falls for the third time and each time I see those majestic falls, I am in awe of their power and beauty.

In 2025, I hope to join the Travel Counsellors gold trip to Vietnam in September which includes 3 nights in Hanoi and 1 night cruising in Halong Bay. Both Cathay Pacific and Singapore Airlines fly to Vietnam, so whats great about that, is that I can take advantage of a city stop in either Hong Kong or Singapore, depending on which airline I fly, and both of these cities have been on my bucket list for a long time so looking forward to eventually being able to tick one of them off.

Beautiful Seychelles

I'll come right out and say it...If you don’t have a dream destination, make it the Seychelles. Really, it's like being in one giant, never ending fantasy from the moment our plane began its final descent and the little islands start appearing down below. Seychelles is a tropical paradise in every sense. I've never seen a paradise quite like it, with perfect white talcum powder sand, turquoise clear water beaches everywhere, lush jungle covering semi mountainous island interiors, and truly laid back, you are in the middle of a nowhere island atmosphere. The largest and most developed island is Mahe, which is home to one of the smallest capitals in the world Victoria, which is such a quaint, spotless, beautiful city... and don’t forget the beautiful Beau Vallon Beach. The second largest island is Praslin which offers a more relaxed setting compared to Mahe. It includes the breathtaking World Heritage listed Vallee De Mai, one of only 2 locations in earth to find the legendary Coco De Mer palm tree in its natural habitat. The valley is also the place for bird watchers, where if you are lucky, you can spot the Seychelles Black Parrot, Bulbul and the Seychelles Kestrel. The highlight for me is that the Seychelles is the most diverse island that you can visit. There is the opportunity for island hopping, accommodation options from luxury 5 star resorts, to island lodges and cosy beachside, budget friendly hotels to suit all travellers and their travel requirements. There are beaches, nature reserves, marine parks, snorkeling, diving, swimming, hiking, shopping, the list is endless… Seychelles sits at the top of my list and I believe that it should be on everyone's bucket list! And we will never forget spending time and working with the amazing children, teachers and staff in Kliptown School and Preschool. Hi Siobhan, Our holiday was very good thanks. Malaysia is beautiful, especially Langkawi. The resorts were both lovely, but I think next time we should book half board, to save us worrying about dinner and where to eat. We weren't brave enough to eat out of the hotel which was quite expensive. The beach in Langkawi is absolutely beautiful; in fact speaking about it now makes me sad, I wish I was back there. Penang was also an amazing experience, not so much for the beach but rather for the history, culture and the city of Georgetown. My favourite of course was Hong Kong, I definitely want to go back there but next time I'll go with an empty suitcase. Hope your Christmas and New Year were good and we will be contacting you for our next trip, hopefully soon! Thanks Nadia

Our trip to Europe was absolutely amazing. Tiring but absolutely worth it! Everything from the sights, entertainment and historical monuments was completely enthralling. Our tour director was so informative and the time on the bus flew by in no time at all. We had a blast on the two extra days we stayed in Paris, spending the first in Notre Dam and the next day at Disney Land Paris. I can't thank you enough for helping with the arrangements for our European trip. Everything was well organised and enjoyed by all. Hi Siobhan, Thank you for your email. Married life is treating us really well, too well as we are expecting. As for our wedding it was amazing, a fairy tale I couldn’t have imagined anything better. The hotel was fantastic and accommodating to our every need. I would definitely recommend a wedding &/ holiday at the resort. My children had a fantastic time although there weren't many children at the holiday club they were a little bored as the one that was there were very young. The Restaurants, well I picked up 3kg's thanks to the wonderful food they serve. I couldn’t make up my mind which dish to have so I had many every night. I must say going the "All Inclusive" was a better choice as there were no worries when checking out for an unexpected bill. The whole family were impressed and we'll be going back sometime soon. Thank you for all your help in making our dream wedding possible.
